The VNA Annual Membership Meeting and Covered Dish Dinner takes place during January or February each year to combine good food and fellowship with the election of new officers and board members. After visiting with neighbors over dinner, the annual meeting is conducted by the outgoing president, followed by the election of new officers and board members. Afterwards, those in attendance are often asked to write down issues they would like to see addressed in the coming year so the new board can establish priorities.Association members are encouraged to sign up and particpate on one of the committees in the coming year to help ensure the success of all association events and activities. Participation builds a connection to our community, fosters neighborly spirit, and provides a sense of satisfaction through time and effort well spent. It is good to remember that board officers, board members and committee members provide their time and effort on a purely voluntary basis.
